With Exceed CIT

Microneedling

Rebuilding collagen from the inside, for skin that holds its results

Did your skin used to bounce back, but lately, it looks a little tired, less firm, and the texture isn't as smooth as it once was? Maybe there's scarring or unevenness you've half made peace with.

Skin needling works in that gap, the space between the skin you see and the healthier skin sitting underneath it.

It does this by prompting your skin to rebuild its own collagen, so the results are genuinely yours, and they last. For a lot of our clients, it's the treatment that finally shifts something they'd long stopped expecting to change.

Every treatment includes Max+ LED light therapy to charge the cells.

How it works

Skin needling, also called collagen induction therapy (CIT), uses very fine needles to create precise, controlled channels in the skin. Your body responds by releasing growth factors and producing fresh collagen and elastin, the scaffolding that keeps skin firm and supple. Over a course of treatments, that renewal firms the skin, refines texture, and breaks down and remodels old scar tissue for a smoother, more even surface.

What skin needling can treat

One treatment, a lot of ground covered

  • Loss of firmness

  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing

  • Rough or uneven texture

  • Dullness

  • Uneven skin tone

  • Enlarged pores

  • Acne scarring

  • Surgical scars

  • Stretch marks

The With Grace difference

We respect your skin barrier, so we're fussy about how skin needling is done. We use the Exceed medical-grade device, which lets your therapist control exactly how deep it works, so it does just enough to get results without overdoing it. It's approved by the safety regulators in Australia, New Zealand and the US, which the cheap pens and rollers aren't.

What to expect

We'll be straight with you. One session is a good start, but the real change builds over a course of treatments, spaced out to let your skin rebuild between visits. You'll notice it looking brighter and feeling smoother early on, with the deeper work on scarring and firmness coming through as new collagen forms. We'll map the number of sessions to your skin and your goals at your consultation.

Frequently asked questions

How does skin needling work?
Fine needles create thousands of microscopic channels in the skin. Your body responds to these as micro-injuries, switching on its natural wound-healing process and producing new collagen and elastin in the treated area. That new collagen is what firms the skin and softens scarring and improves texture over the following weeks and months.

What makes the Exceed different from a microneedling pen or roller?
The Exceed is a medical-grade device engineered in Germany, and it's TGA-approved, Medsafe-listed, and FDA-cleared, which most cosmetic pens and rollers are not. Its needle depth is precisely controlled, so your therapist works at the exact depth your skin needs without overtreating it. That precision means a more controlled treatment, less trauma to the skin and a faster recovery.

Does skin needling hurt?
It’s not pain-free, and we won't pretend otherwise, but most clients describe it as tolerable rather than painful, and it's over reasonably quickly.

Is there downtime?
Expect your skin to look flushed like a mild sunburn for 1 to 3 days, sometimes with slight swelling or dryness as it settles. Most people are comfortable heading back to normal life the next day with mineral makeup if they choose. We'll give you everything you need to recover well.

How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what we're treating. For general skin health, 3-6 sessions are common, while acne scarring or pigmentation usually requires a longer course. We'll give you a realistic number at your consultation rather than an open-ended commitment.

What are the Klardie skin boosters?
Klardie Skin Boosters are premium-grade Korean skincare formulations that we can infuse into the skin during your treatment. D+ nourishes and rejuvenates skin that's depleted or weakened, and R+ brightens dull, tired skin.

How do I look after my skin afterwards?
Keep it simple for the first few days: a gentle cleanser, plenty of hydration, and no actives until your skin has calmed. Sun protection is non-negotiable while your skin repairs, so use a high SPF and a hat whenever you're outside. We'll send you home knowing exactly what to do.

Who isn't suited to skin needling?
Skin needling may not suit you if you have active acne, dermatitis, rosacea, a clotting or bleeding disorder. A consultation with one of our therapists is the surest way to know. We'll always check your suitability properly before we begin.

Skin needling or RF microneedling, which one do I need?
Both build collagen, but RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy to drive deeper remodelling, firming and tightening, which is better suited to more advanced laxity. Standard skin needling is often the better fit for texture, scarring and overall skin quality. You don't need to work this out on your own. We'll look at your skin and tell you honestly which one earns its place in your plan.

How do I maintain my results?
Skin needling results come from your own collagen, so maintaining them is mostly about consistency: a prescribed homecare routine, sun protection, and maintenance sessions a few times a year once you've completed your initial course. We'll build that rhythm into your plan so the work you've put in holds.
