How it works

Clinical Skin Clear uses a non-invasive device that combines radio-frequency and high-frequency energy. The energy is drawn to the fluid in a lesion, the oil in a bump or the blood in a small vessel, and dries it out through vaporisation rather than burning. That distinction matters because it means the surrounding skin is left undamaged. Some irregularities lift away on the spot, whilst others dry up and fall away over the days that follow.

What it feels like, and what to expect after

Most people feel a brief, sharp heat at each point treated. It's a precise treatment rather than a relaxing one, and it's usually fast. Afterwards, the treated spots may scab lightly and need a little time to heal, so you'll leave knowing exactly how to look after them.

You'll feel a brief, sharp heat at each point treated, which passes quickly. It's precise rather than painful, and most sessions are over fast. 

What happens to the spot afterwards?
Some lift away on the spot. Others dry up and fall away over the following days. The area may scab lightly as it heals, which is normal, and we'll give you clear aftercare to follow. 

Will it leave a mark?
Because the treatment vaporises rather than burns, most people heal well with no lasting mark when the area is properly cared for, though this depends on the irregularity and your skin. We'll talk you through what to expect before we begin. 

How many can you treat in one session?
The 15-minute session covers one to two. The 30-minute session suits several. If you're unsure, book in and we'll confirm what's realistic once we've seen the area.
