With Aerolase® Neo Elite
Laser Treatment Device
Powerful where it counts, gentle where it matters
A lot of people have been told that lasers aren't for them. If you have a deeper skin tone, sensitive or reactive skin, or melasma, you've probably been turned away from laser treatments or warned they could make things worse.
Often that's true of older, harsher lasers, but our Aerolase is different.
It's gentle enough for skin that other lasers can't safely touch, and versatile enough to treat acne, pigmentation, redness, ageing and more, all without downtime.
How it works
Aerolase works in tiny, ultra-fast bursts of laser energy, so quick they're over in a fraction of a second, and the handpiece never even touches your skin.
That speed is the whole trick. Each burst carries enough energy to effectively address your concerns, but moves so fast it skips the lingering heat that makes other lasers uncomfortable.
That same gentleness is why Aerolase is safe for every skin tone, including deeper tones that many lasers can't treat safely. With pigmentation and melasma especially, where the wrong laser can make things worse, it gives us a much safer way to work.
What Aerolase can treat
This is one of the most versatile treatments in the clinic. We use it for:
Acne, by calming inflammation, regulating oil and reducing acne-causing bacteria
Pigmentation and melasma, by gently breaking down pigment for your body to clear
Rosacea, redness and visible veins, by targeting the vessels behind them
Fine lines, texture and laxity, through collagen stimulation and tightening
Cherry angiomas treated precisely
Psoriasis, calmed and managed
Overall tone, texture and radiance
What it feels like
Comfortable, quick and calm. You can return to your day straight after, with skin that looks clearer and brighter rather than red and raw.

Frequently asked questions
What is Aerolase?
Aerolase is a gentle, versatile laser treatment that addresses a wide range of concerns, including acne, pigmentation, melasma, rosacea, redness, ageing and certain skin lesions. It works by delivering a unique ultra-short pulse without touching the skin, making it both effective and exceptionally gentle.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes, and this is one of its biggest strengths. Many lasers pose a real risk to deeper skin tones, which is why people are often turned away. Aerolase is designed to be safe across all skin tones, so it gives us a way to treat skin that other lasers can't. We'll always assess your skin properly first.
Can it treat melasma?
It's one of the safer laser options for melasma, since its gentle energy is far less likely to provoke it than aggressive lasers. We still approach melasma carefully as part of a broader plan, and we'll be honest about what's realistic, since it is managed rather than cured.
Does it hurt, and is there downtime?
Most people feel a gentle warmth rather than pain, since the device never touches your skin and its pulses are extremely short. The heat does build a little as the treatment goes on, and more pigmented or vascular areas can feel it more, since those are the spots the energy is drawn to. Your therapist adjusts as they work and checks in with you throughout. There's no downtime, so you can head back to your day straight after.
How is it different from the PicoSure laser?
They're suited to different things. PicoSure is excellent for sun-induced pigmentation, the more surface-level kind, and for skin rejuvenation on suitable skin types. Aerolase is the gentler, more versatile option, safe across all skin tones and better suited to redness, acne, melasma and sensitive skin. We'll recommend the right laser for your skin and concern, rather than defaulting to a single option.
How many treatments will I need?
It depends on the concern. Acne, pigmentation, and redness usually require a course of sessions spaced a few weeks apart, while some lesions can be addressed in one session. We'll give you a realistic plan at your consultation.
Can it really treat so many different things?
Yes, because the laser energy can be tuned to different targets in the skin, whether that's pigment, blood vessels, bacteria or water. That versatility is part of why it's one of our most-used devices, though the right application and settings for your skin are determined at your consultation.
