What’s a B Corp?

Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab - a third party, non-profit organisation - to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.

B Corp Certification means that a company has been verified as meeting B Lab’s high standards for social and environmental impact, that it has made a legal commitment to stakeholder governance, and that it is demonstrating accountability and transparency by disclosing this record of performance in a public B Corp profile.

As a B Corp we’re counted among businesses that are leading a global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

What is the mission of the B Corp community?

What is the certification process?

Certified B Corps are required to:

• Consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders

• Agree to be transparent on five impact areas: governance, workers, customers, communities, and the environment.

• Achieve a minimum verified score on the B Impact Assessment.

• Recertify every three years. This requires them to satisfy the ever-changing standards and expectations of the certification each time.

• Complete a comprehensive questionnaire, including substantiating evidence, followed up with an interview and reviews by B Corp, each with stringent guidelines.
